Peter said,

"Lord, you know everything,

of course, I love you."

"Then feed my sheep", Jesus said.

Our Mission

CROP Walk
Sunday, October 16
12:30PM registration
1PM walk starts

Our local area CROP Walk begins at the First Presbyterian Church in Metuchen
270 Woodbridge Avenue, Metuchen, NJ
Join the Trinity UMC team of walkers and other neighbors!

Proceeds will go to the discretionary fund for helping our neighbors
that is administered by the Interfaith Clergy Association
of the Metuchen-Edison area
(Trinity UMC is a member congregation of MEICA)

October 16th is also Laity Sunday
Certified Lay Speaker, Cathy Stanford, will illustrate the Biblical basis of our mission to end hunger at the 10:30am worship service.

We are a Bread for the World church community!
"If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food,
and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,'
and yet you do not supply their bodily needs,
what is the good of that?
So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead." (James 2:15-17)

We cannot earn our salvation. It is a free gift from God,
but our neighbors need our good works.
Let us create the beloved community
on earth in preparation for the second coming of Christ.
